9/5/2020 -- NATIONAL ORGANIZATION LAUNCHED

We are moving forward with a public launch of NACLIQ. There will be a planning meeting soon, date TBD. There is no reason not to launch the national website and social media in the meantime. Anyone interested in participating and/or starting a local chapter can attend the monthly happy hour or reach out to us about attending the upcoming planning meeting.

9/5/2020 -- HAPPY HOUR GOES MONTHLY

After a successful inaugural happy hour, we're making it a monthly event open to folks from all over. Grab a drink and join us the first Friday of every month at 5pm Eastern time. Email us for the Zoom link.

8/26/2020 -- NATIONAL ORGANIZATION UPDATES

Just a quick update regarding the national organization.  The website is built and ready to publish-- that was the easy part.  The hard part is figuring out how this all works.  There are many decisions that need to be made that shouldn't occur in a vacuum:

-- Right now I have a mission statement...ish... thingamajig.  I wanted to hone it a bit with some input from others.

-- Organizational structure needs to be determined and codified, again not by one person.  My vision is of a loose confederation of local chapters, operating under a common mission statement, but otherwise free to do as they wish.  They would appoint a representative to the national committee.  Again, just one person's thoughts based loosely on the structure of WILD.  I'm open to input. On that note, I'm going to put two things on the NYCLIQ calendar.  One is a getting-to-know-you Final Summer Friday happy hour Zoom call on September 4th.  I'm thinking 4pm.  Hopefully we won't lose too many people to the holiday weekend, but this is a weird year so I have high hopes.  Following that, I want to have an organizational meeting with the people who really want to get involved.  That would likely be the following Thursday. In the meantime, I need help from all of you.  Please spread the word.  I hate to sound like a vacuous influencer, but here goes: please follow, like, and share posts on Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter! Thank you!
